I give this company 5 stars! I moved into this home in Spring of '08. Had a huge ant problem (kitchen/sugar-seeking ants), and I tried every way possible to deal with it myself. Finally I called a service - VANGUARD PEST CONTROL - and I'm so glad I did.
Then, a few months later, I noticed a stream of carpenter ants following a fence and then a rain gutter into a vent, into the attic, and through light fixture. Once again, I called VANGUARD. The guy who came out followed the trail in reverse. The line on the fence was coming from a wood pile in my neighbor's yard. Vanguard treated, solving the problem. At that time, I decided to make their service a regular event - quarterly - and I just consider it to be insurance. Have not had a single problem since. Staff is always professional, and if you call Vanguard, you actually get to talk to a human being. A human being!!!! (I call to pay my bill with my credit card.)
